Aisha Jamila is an American actress best known for her roles on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Ever since her debut in 2003, she has proven her ability in the role of actress with stunning performances in television shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. In 2005, she was noticed first for her performance as Anna on Assault on Precinct 13 Her appearance in the biographical film All the Way as the Women's Right activists Fannie Lou Hammer attracted Hind to the notice of the world at large. Hind's portrayal as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's period drama Underground received a lot of praise. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. The show has been renewed for a third season on 20th Century Fox Television. In the last few days, Hind completed filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters that is set to be released in the middle of 2019. The father Krishnaraj was an Army scientist and died 18 March 2017. Her mother Vrinda is a homemaker. Aditya is her brother who is also a merchant naval engineer. Bachchan's older brother Aditya Rai wrote and co-produced Dil Ka Rishta along with their mother. The family relocated to Mumbai to attend Arya Vidya Mandir. When she completed her Intermediate studies at Jai Hind College, she enrolled at D.G. Ruparel College in Matunga where she got a 95% mark of the H.S.C. exams. She studied classical music as well as dance for 5 years in her teen years. Her passion was for studying zoology. Bachchan was a student of architecture at the time when she was crowned Miss World in 1994. This title launched her into the limelight of modeling. The year 2003 was the time she received lucrative jobs with PepsiCo Inc. as well as Vogue magazine. She also got a contract as model for L'Oreal Paris spokesmodel. She got married Abhishek Bachchan, who is a co-star who is the father of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan.
