Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix a Los Angeles native born on the 18th November 1985. Paul Felix, her father was a pastor ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet elementary school. Felix realized early on that she had a talent for running when attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Just 10 weeks after her first attempt, she finished in second place in the 200-meter race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003 signed an agreement with Adidas. She then was accepted into the University of Southern California and pursued a degree in elementary education. Felix won her first Olympic Medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics that took place at Athens Greece. She broke the Junior World Record taking 200m in 22.18 second. The year 2005 was the time she was the youngest 200-meter world champion in the Helsinki World Championships. She defended this title in 2007, defeating her long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix was consistently in the top third of each of her events in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
